The first voice you hear during business hours will be a real person not a machine. You never have to push buttons "1" or "2". Our office staff will happily answer your questions and offer you as much time and help as you may need. We bring you the worlds most fragrant roses!

Year-Round Shipping
We grow roses both in the greenhouse and dormant outside, in the winter, making it possible to get roses to you year round depending only on the weather in your area.

All Our Roses are Virus-Free
We are the only American Nursery to offer this. Heirloom Roses has been a leader in bringing this to the attention of the public and the industry. Virus-Free are healthier, more winter hardy, produce up to 20% more blooms, and are more disease resistant. Read more about the rose virus here.

Own Root Roses
Own Root Roses are more profuse blooming, more winter hardy, no root stock suckers to contend with. Read more about Own Root Roses here.

Hybridizing Program
One of only two retail rose breeding programs for large roses in the United States.

Personalized Selection of Rose Stock
John and Louise have spent years visiting more than 100 rose gardens and nurseries throughout Europe and England looking for the best of roses both new and old. This often results in exclusive introductions such as the new Harkness English Legend™ Roses. We import more than 500 roses of many varieties a year from England and Europe for evaluation in our test gardens as well as select American breeders. After years of evaluation, only about one variety in ten qualifies for our catalog. Beauty, fragrance, and disease-resistance are a high priority. Years of research and evaluation go into our selections.

Three Large Display Rose Gardens
containing 1500 varieties of roses open to the public.
