HONOR ELIZABETH PPAF

We chose this lovely rose to name 'Honor Elizabeth' in her honor. Ironically, I saw it was code named by the breeder 'Harhero', a beautiful new yellow rose, her favorite color. Our friend Robert Harkness, the breeder of the rose, has graciously agreed to our naming it 'Honor Elizabeth'. Partly bright, yet subtle-yellow blooms with a pronounced apple fragrance. A great performer, producing wave after wave of lovely flowers. The plant is compact and neat in habit, a very bushy, rounded plant with glossy, rich, dark-green foliage that provides the perfect backdrop for its attractive yellow blooms. Hardy zones 6 - 10, continual bloomer, petals 18+.

A new group of roses from the "Harkness Roses" family of England comes roses that have won many awards throughout the world and that have been marketed in France and Germany as English Legend roses for several years. Heirloom Roses is the exclusive introducer of these elegant rose bushes. Most are wonderfully fragrant with a number of different perfumes and are long-lasting as cut blooms. The English Legend Roses(TM) fall somewhere between the English Roses and the Romantica's. Their main features are a wider range of colors than either of the other groups of rose bushes. They tend to have more fragrance than the Romanticas and are much more compact rose bushes than most Austin introductions. Hardy zones 5/6 through 10.
