We chose this lovely rose to name 'Honor Elizabeth' in her honor. Ironically, I saw it was code named by the breeder 'Harhero', a beautiful new yellow rose, her favorite color. Our friend Robert Harkness, the breeder of the rose, has graciously agreed to our naming it 'Honor Elizabeth'.
Partly bright, yet subtle-yellow blooms with a pronounced apple fragrance. A great performer, producing wave after wave of lovely flowers. The plant is compact and neat in habit, a very bushy, rounded plant with glossy, rich, dark-green foliage that provides the perfect backdrop for its attractive yellow blooms. Hardy zones 6 - 10, continual bloomer, petals 18+.
