Another great climbing rose from Harkness of England. Named for a popular drink served in English pubs. Robert Harkness describes 'Ginger Syllabub' thus, "amber ginger flowers exuding wave after wave of perfume. A vigorous grower". When conditions are right the perfume drifts on the breeze. A new group of roses from the "Harkness Roses" family of England comes roses that have won many awards throughout the world and that have been marketed in France and Germany as English Legend roses for several years. Heirloom Roses is the exclusive introducer of these elegant rose bushes. Most are wonderfully fragrant with a number of different perfumes and are long-lasting as cut blooms. The English Legend Roses(TM) fall somewhere between the English Roses and the Romantica's. Their main features are a wider range of colors than either of the other groups of rose bushes. They tend to have more fragrance than the Romanticas and are much more compact rose bushes than most Austin introductions. Hardy zones 5/6 through 10.
