Hawkeye Belle

Type: Hardy

As you might imagine, Dr. Buck used this name on one of his most beautiful creations. Fully double 4-5" blooms (petals 36-42) of creamy-white shaded pink toward the edges. Extremely fragrant with sweet perfume on a vigorous upright continual blooming bush that is well foliaged with leathery olive-green leaves which are overlaid with rich bronze. Winter hardy in Iowa without protection.

Stunning!!Review by Milwaukee Rose
Rating
Three plants of Dr. Buck's Hawkeye Belle have graced my Milwaukee, WI gardens for over a decade. Their lovely beauty is surpassed only by their hardiness. No winter protection is necessary and they grow taller and more stunning each year. Average care such as regular watering is all that is required with only a bit of pruning to remove old canes. The blooms are beyond beautiful - large and full and delicately pink with a bloom period in the early summer and again later in the season. If you love roses treat yourself to this incredible beauty!
