Kaffe Fassett is a rebloomer not a continual bloomer

I waited until year 2 to give a review. I am in the Pacific Northwest zone 8b. I planted 5 Kaffe Fassett and 4 Blueberry Hill in a bed at church and a Kaffe Fassett in a pot on my deck last year 2022. Year one-2022 Kaffe struggled with black spot but so did so many other plants, even the Oregon grape ( mahonia). Spring 2023, I sprayed it with preventive neem oil every 2 weeks and it did fine the rest of the growing season. Kaffe Fassett gave me 2 bloom shows that lasted about 14 days in June and August. Hot day brings out scent.. I also planted Blueberry Hill for its shorter height which is continual blooming. Blueberry Hill bloomed constantly which I liked more. This month, September, Blueberry Hill is forming large hips on the rounded shrub shape with this last set of blooms so I left them on. Kaffe is more of a shorter shrub with tall arms that reach above the bush. Not symmetrical..
Kaffe is pretty and has a lovely scent but a lot of work of watering and fertilizing for only two big bloom events. If I were to do it again I would buy a rose that says continual bloom. Neither of these roses had a scent that wafted on the wind. I had to get close to the Kaffe rose in my deck pot to get the scent. I have 7 At Last roses planted at church and that scent wafts on the wind.
Kaffe Fasset is a lovely color and has a lovely scent. If you are in the market for a rebloomer and not a continual bloomer that is a smaller bush this is a great rose.

My roses are beautiful!! I have the first two perfect roses of the spring! When I take a brake from quilting, I enjoy this beautiful rose.

Now have three

I have had such food results with this rose that I just bought my third one. It's easy to care for, and can survive benign neglect. It blends well with most colors; I have it next to pink and rose colored roses as well as yellows and yellow blends. One of my all time favorites!

prolific bloomer

This is my second year with this rose. Perfect for containers, blooms its heart out, and smells divine. It's one of the few roses I'd like to duplicate for patio placement.
