From the color palette of Tom Carruth, comes this striking Shrub rose. Outta the Blue pushes out fully double, fragrant, 3" blooms with 40+ petals that are bluish purple. She has such a unique color  that we cannot photograph her and do her justice. Flowers are produced on a continual blooming plant with rich, green foliage. Healthy and bright

I am in South Florida zone 10B. This rose started blooming one month after arrival. Then she keeps growing and making more blooms. The flowers have purple red color and nice fragrance. Another good thing about her is there is no thorn! I am very happy to have her in my front yard!

Love it.

Wonderful rose, surprisingly fragrant. The flower opens to a bluish red then becomes a beautiful shade of purple until fading into lavender. Grows well and strong bloomer in Atlanta area. Less blackspot than my other roses

Glowing Color

Noticed Outta the Blue at a botanical garden where the color & health of the foliage made it stand out. Have not regretted purchasing it for home landscape for the same reasons. Comes back after brutal winters with little die-back & no black spot. Color is not shy - really glows - makes up for lack of fragrance. Takes hot southern exposure with ample watering.

Good Rose

Strong rose, does well in K.C. MO, very little black spot if any. Repeat bloomer. Placed in North setting, planted about 2 inches below ground, never winter mulch. Survivied our difficult winter several years ago when many lost their roses. This one came through just fine.
