Hardy rose, great stockReview by Melissa
I planted a one gallon New Dawn in May, in zone 6. In its first summer, it has grown one 15 foot branch and one 12 foot, in addition to smaller branches, all with no fertilizer. My last New Dawns were fast growing, hardy plants that came from cuttings I did myself for practice. I was doubtful that a rose from a nursery, in a different growing zone and climate, would be as good as my own cuttings, but this plant has outperformed mine. I need to rethink my trellis plan for spring! Thank you, Heirloom, for such a great product to replace the ones I had to leave behind when I moved (Posted on 12/18/2016)
Wonderful bloom!Review by Dog Lady
I planted in my pet memory rose garden! This was planted for a sweet yellow Labrador and it bloomed very well and was a perfect Tribute to Daisy Mae! It was the first year here in the Upper Highlands of Worcester County and did very well considering we had a very bad drought and hot summer! Looking forward to a nice early spring and many blooms ! The Very BestReview by KimmieRosie
The best climber hands down I have ever had. Prolific, hardy, and oh so beautiful! (Posted on 11/28/2016)
Lovely, but...Review by Beanie
I planted 2 New Dawn climbers against a 6' chain-link fence 10 years ago. They grew rapidly, are very black-spot resistant, and bloomed profusely all over the fence in a flush in late spring in Kentucky. However, they never repeat bloomed for me, let alone continuously; they are very thorny with wicked hooks at the thorn tips, and they got witches broom 2 years ago, requiring me to remove them completely and preventing me from planting any roses in their place in future, since the soil is now contaminated with the virus. Gorgeous roses when blooming, but not all they're advertised as, here in eastern Kentucky. (Posted on 6/11/2016)
Beautiful Rose!Review by Laurie
I received this rose last year and it has grown vigorously and is climbing my pergola. I am awaiting its first blooms with anticipation. It is so healthy and requires little care. It is tolerating light shade well. I will only buy own root roses now as the difference in health, appearance and longevity, not to mention upkeep is amazing! Your roses are just beautiful! Very Happy!Review by Joyce
I just got my rose, and I am very happy with it. It was perfect in every way. Nice growth, and in great shape. I ordered a rose from another company and was shocked at what they sent me. I thought it was a joke. Heirloom is very reliable and will definitely order again. Thank you for sending great products. (Posted on 5/19/2016)
New DawnReview by Kimberley
I planted two of these last summer, then we had the coldest summer in decades in upstate NY. The New Dawns are doing wonderfully. They grew at least eight feet in height since planting, with canes overtaking the six foot fence that I wanted them to climb. No blooms yet, maybe next year. (Posted on 9/29/2015)
