It was a slow start here in zone 9b Az and so worth it. Playboy really took off in October once the evenings cooled off and has now tripled in size since planted this may. Constant flushing sprays of bright buds and flowers even now on Jan 1st. Looks electric and happy :o) (Posted on 1/1/2015)
Playboy, beautiful and so disease resistant.Review by GardenGrandma_11
I planted 'Playboy' rose a few years ago. Immediately after planting, it took off like a champ, producing shiny green leaves with orange, yellow blooms that delicately fade to pink as the bloom ages. It's stunning, and I'm so glad I chose this rose. It grows by my house right under the water spout. Guess what? It's super resistant to disease, with all the rain here in the NW and it's healthy and happy, no black spot! I have it as a single planting but can see it would make a great showing when planted in mass. Great looking rose, but low on fragrance, that's ok. I'm very happy with 'Playboy' and have fun sharing it with all. (Posted on 10/9/2014)
