I received my Abraham Darby shortly after Mother's Day this year. A very healthy plant arrived here in Zone 7 where I live. Since that time, the rose has given us at least 10 blooms! Every stage of the bloom is lovely, and I just can't stop smelling the wonderful fragrance! They make such lovely cut flowers for inside our home too.
Thank you all for growing such excellent plants! I will definitely be ordering more roses from you!

Beautiful Rose!! Heavenly scent! It was over 100 for weeks here in central Texas and this rose didn't miss a beat!!! Really resistant to disease here and blooms are big and beautiful. This is by far my favorite rose. (Posted on 9/11/2018)

I’m in zone 7, Idaho. I just ordered my second AD. The first one has done so well, so quickly. It’s very healthy, has the most beautiful roses! My sister has had one for several years, and highly recommended it to me. I put the first one in front where I don’t see it as often as I’d like. This one is going right beside the back steps! I’m in northeastern Oklahoma. Summers are anywhere from the 80s to 102 but this rose didn’t falter. It required little care. The blooms were beautiful. Only lasted a day in the extreme heat but several days otherwise. (Posted on 8/15/2018)

I grow this rose as a climber in Southern Oregon. It's the first to bloom in spring and goes on all season long. Huge blooms with a fragrance that makes one swoon! I'll never be without this rose. Second only in my heart to Peace. (Posted on 6/3/2018)
Lovely. Winter HardyReview by MK

I live in West Michigan (zone 5b-6a) and was on the lookout for a beautiful rose that could handle the massive amounts of snow we get every winter. This lil guy braved the winter and has grown substantially. Heading into its second season, its produced 14 buds and I cannot wait to see the blooms. (Posted on 5/31/2018)

Amazing!Review by Shoshannah

This is the most gorgeous rose ever. The downside is that the petals fall off pretty quickly in a bouquet, but I still cut flowers to bring inside as there is no beauty surpassing the Abraham Darby rose! I have this rose on a wrought iron fence dividing my swimming pool from the rest of the yard. It is my pride and joy. I planted this in 2006 and now, in 2018, it is 7-8' tall and has more flowers than can be counted. It lives happily in Redding, CA, zone 9, with hot and dry summers. It is on our drip system for water in the summer. (Posted on 5/15/2018)

I planted this rose last spring in my garden (zone 5) and it performed beautifully, even in part shade. The blooms are absolutely gorgeous at every stage, and the fragrance is incredible. I can't wait to watch it grow this year! (Posted on 1/3/2018)

I've never encountered a fragrance like the Abraham Darby - its to be savored. I'll put a few cut flowers in vases in every room, and stop to inhale them all day long. There are subtle differences, but usually one will stand out as the daily winner. The flowers are smaller, but the petals are dense. Light peach early in the season, but now with a tinge of apricot with the cooler nights. Spectacular. (Posted on 9/15/2017)

This is one of the most gorgeous roses I own. Every year, my husband gives me a different rose plant for our anniversary. This year, he gave me the Abraham Darby rose. The colors are amazing! And the fragrance is perfection! I'm looking forward to seeing it in full bloom again next year! (Posted on 9/9/2017)
Carefree ClimberReview by Anon

Rose bush grows tall and full. Have had 4 bloomings in 4 months. Blooms are beautiful, but only last about 3 days before petals start to fall off (only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5). As it matures, maybe they will last longer or won't be as noticeable as more buds blossom. Requires minimal care, water when Mother Nature fails to, fertilizer every few weeks and prune whenever.
