I live in lower Alabama which is Zone 9. It has been a very hot and humid summer. This rose arrived without any foliage at all. I planted according to directions and within a week it was fully leafed out. Roses appeared in a very short time. It has bloomed well and is handling our heat well. (Posted on 8/29/2018)
Great Rose - An All-Time FavoriteReview by Debbie

In Zone 8b, Carefree Delight is a magnificent, healthy rose we've grown for 20 years. We've enjoyed this rose so much we simply don't ever want to be without it in our garden. The flowers are white/pink and just lovely. It's disease resistant, flowers non-stop, and can be pruned however you like. It can be pruned as a very tall hedge, or kept below 6' as a wide shrub. It flowers all the time, and doesn't need dead-heading as new stems take over to continue the flower show. Give it a wide berth, plant in a ric-rac pattern and allow it to grow into a big plant and you will be rewarded with healthy foliage and countless flowers. (Posted on 5/11/2018)

This rose has done very well in our zone 8 . It bloomed all summer with a slight rest . The bees seem to like this one also. I have it with native grasses and salvias. Always alot of bees and butterflies around. Heirloom roses sent healthy plants that I grew for a few months in pots because I don't coddle my plants. Got to be tough to flourish here in central Texas. Thank you . (Posted on 10/23/2017)
