Crested Moss

Type: Moss

Though technically a Centifolia, we list it here as a Moss. Fully double, very fragrant, cabbage-style 2" blooms of rich pink with heavy mossing on the buds. A strong, upright once blooming bush with light green foliage.

I've been waiting a long time to add the Crested Moss to my Midwest garden (zone 5). This arrived in a very healthy state and it has grown over 4 Ft. tall this first year. I have it facing SW against a brick wall. I had three blooms and they full of deep substance and fragrance. I love the look of the Crested Moss on the buds! Very different and can't wait to see how it responds the second year. So far, it has not been bothered by any pests. I only wish I could attach a photo to show the big beautiful blooms and growth from a first year plant. Fabulous! Every rose I've ordered from Heirloom Roses has arrived healthy and vigorous with first year bloom performance that is outstanding. (Posted on 1/13/2018)
