From our English friend, Peter Beales, we bring you 'Lady Ashe'. An ideal climbing pillar or shrub rose that has everything going for it. Outstanding fragrance, beauty of bloom and a wonderful disease-resistant plant. The fully double blooms are a subtle shade of peachy pink. My length of time growing roses, the virtues of Lady Ashe, how well she was grown and packed, and encouragement to put her on the wish list.Review by Grandma Terry
I have grown roses, both in the UK and here in Zone 7 for over 50 years, and Lady Ashe is, without doubt, one of the very best, for beauty, scent, health and performance, all of which are superb. I have grown her on pergolas, at the back of large borders, and as a splendid freestanding shrub, both in cool, wet climates, in hot, dry ones and in rose disease hotspots. In windy areas, in dry heat and below zero winters, this lovely rose has paid no attention whatsoever to these minor details, coming back more beautiful every year.
I can't tell you how happy I was, after a long search, to find her again at Heirloom Roses and to see how well she had been grown and packed for her Journey to North West Arkansas. I would urge you to put your request for this rose on the wish list at once - she's very hard to find in the USA, and I guarantee that you will not be disappointed!

Delightful and dependable!Review by Laura
Lady Ashe has outpaced her neighbor roses, bought elsewhere than Heirloom. Bought It 3 years ago. It is disease resistant and usually covered in buds and flowers. It is longlasting in bouquets. Has a charming combination of colors. A robust salmon pink, with peachy pale orange, with gold center and does not fade much. Letting it climb an arbor this year, but it makes a healthy shrub, spreading sideways. Very strong stems that never droop with the weight of flowers and raindrops! SO disease resistant, even with Blackspot-challenged neighbors! A keeper fof sure! (Posted on 3/31/2017)
