The most beautiful rose!Review by Mary
Had this rose at our other house. When we moved, we couldn't find another one like it. Finally found Heirloom Roses and "First Prize" was out of stock, When it became available we ordered some and each time "First Prize" has a new bloom we have to go check it out.

The pinks are gorgeous and have different shades. Just beautiful and they keep blooming! (Posted on 11/8/2017)
A magnificent rose for garden and as a cut flowerReview by Leni
An absolute stunner! My favorite of more than 80 rose bushes in my garden. It is subtle bi-color - pink and silver white/pink. Its name says it all - First prize. You need this rose in your garden. (Posted on 9/1/2017)
Fabulous!!!Review by Snooks
No rose compares to First Prize. It was in my garden below the balcony. I used to walk out of my kitchen and overlook it just to feel better. We moved recently and that rose is probably the thing I miss the most. I will definitely get another. (Posted on 4/22/2017)
Long-Loved Favorite!Review by Karen
Of all the roses I've ever grown, this one makes me go over the moon -- the blooms are HUGE and continual. In the house where I had it growing, I had AT LEAST a dozen strangers a years literally park their car, sneak up the driveway, and *steal* a bloom -- that's how stunning this rose is. And I lived on a side street! I miss First Prize still, all these years later, and plan to plant it again right here, at this new house. The single best rose I've ever grown, when it comes to show-stopping blooms.

I will remark, I had a climbing version of this rose, that was grafted onto some other stock. Bought at the local garden center in LA, before I knew what I was doing. Can't wait to try the "own-root" variety from Heirloom Roses! (Posted on 3/22/2017)
Luscious beautiful roseReview by Carola
A friend gave me this rose as a housewarming gift 20 years ago. The blooms are huge and a rich blend of pinks. It started me as a rose gardener (now up to 400 plants!) but I still run up to it when the flowers begin to open. What a luscious delight of a rose! (Posted on 2/18/2014)
