Folksinger

Type: Hardy

Sweetly fragrant peach and yellow cupped 4-5" bloom (petals 30+) with lovely perfume on a continually blooming plant having leathery, shiny, bronze-green foliage. There must be David Austin rose influence somewhere in the background of 'Folksinger' as the flowers can have a very 'English' look to them.

I planted this rose in 2015 in memory of my late husband, who was a singer/songwriter. In the two summers since it has been one of my first roses to bloom in the spring and the last to give in to the frost in the fall. In between it's covered at nearly all times with gorgeous, beautifully fragrant peachy blooms. Definitely recommend. (Posted on 1/6/2018)
A Pleasant Surprise! Review by Sam

I bought this rose on a whim because I thought the colors were interesting, but it ended up being one of my favorite roses in my garden. The colors are an intriguing mix of peaches, pinks, and purples. The scent is not very strong, and it's difficult to describe, but I do enjoy it. My bush bloomed frequently last year and had all kinds of new shoots. It's already growing like crazy and I can't wait to see the blooms this year! (Posted on 4/10/2017)
