Johann Strauss

Type: Hybrid Tea

Composed to perfection as only Strauss could have imagined. A wonderfully disease resistant pearl pink floribunda. Light pink buds unfurl to reveal an old-fashioned, heavily petaled bloom with fresh apple fragrance. Deep olive green foliage is lustrous and tolerant to disease. A great color for cottage gardens naturalizing. Blooms repeatedly in all weather conditions. Destined to be a classic. Very fragrant. Continuous blooming.

We are no longer growing Johann Strauss but will maintain this listing for reference purposes.

Best Rose in the GardenReview by Strauss
One of Meillands' finest roses. A very disease resistant rose that blooms all summer long. It is almost the end of October in zone 6b and my Strauss' are in full bloom. I have 6 of these beautiful roses in my yard and we simply love them. A 5 star rose! (Posted on 10/25/2017)
Just the bestReview by SF Gardener
I live in the SF Bay area... something of a challenge for roses since we don't really get summer or winter. Johann Strauss is a great performer for us with dewy pink flowers throughout the long long season on a strong healthy bush. (Posted on 9/8/2017)
Stunning Review by Kc
I live in Michigan. My Johann Strauss is a bit protected against my house. I fertilize mid March until end of July. It is beautiful with non stop blooms! Light pink with lime green on the back. No brainer to grow ! Grows upright usually 4-5 feet . Blooms till frost with a fall color and big orange hips. (Posted on 8/25/2017)
