Fragrant Plum

Type: Grandiflora

Very long, elegant buds open into lovely, large, 4" double blooms (petals 20-25) that are a most unusual color combination of lavender toward the center, gradually shading to smoky plum-purple toward the edges. Add to this the fact that it is blessed with a wonderful, strong fruity perfume. The flowers are produced on long stems perfect for cutting. A tall continually blooming upright bush.

I have a number of bushes including a Chrysler and Sheila's Perfume. This one out performs all of them. The blooms are prolific, well formed and extremely fragrant. A must for your rose garden. (Posted on 10/3/2017)
This one's a keeperReview by Backyard Bum

Fragrant Plum is fantastic. I have two in my backyard. They get afternoon sun and are both thriving despite the extreme heat in my part of Los Angeles. They put most of my other roses to shame in terms of number of blooms and vigor. They get up to about 6+ feet before I give them the fall prune. My neighbors must enjoy seeing the beautiful color over the fence. (Posted on 9/8/2017)

I just saw my first rose bud bloom and what a total surprise. It didn't look
too well when I received it but I transplanted it to a larger pot and
waited. This is my first experience ordering roses on line and I will not hesitate to
order from this nursery again.

We've had two of the Fragrant Plum Roses for about 10 years now. Heirloom Roses do cost more, but in the long run, are worth it. We have some grocery store roses next to them and you really can tell the difference in quality from the scent, leaves, blossoms and how long they stay fresh in comparison.
