Geoff Hamilton®

Type: David Austin

A strong growing, healthy and exceptionally disease resistant rose. The 3 1/2" flowers (petals 100) are of a warm, soft pink, deceptively delicate in appearance. Cupped at first with the outer ring of petals dropping back and fading to white to provide a most attractive effect on a continual blooming plant.

Breathtaking Review by Tennessee rose

This rose is a real show stopper. People stop by my house to admire it. It breaks out in spring with about 45 blooms on a gorgeous health bush. Very fragrant and super pretty in a small vase on the table. (Posted on 4/26/2017)

A Serendipitous Surprise!Review by Valeria

Once I planted this rose, it took a little while to make up its mind to begin growing, but when it did, whoa, buddy! It's one of the top 4 roses in my collection, tied for second place with Alnwick and Jude the Obscure. It produces lovely blooms with a to-die-for fragrance. The structure of each blossom perfect in every way. A definite must-have even for small collections! (Posted on 4/19/2017)
Lots of growth the 1st yearReview by Kelsey

I've had this rose bush for about a year, and although the bush has grown like crazy, I've only had about 3-4 blooms so far. The blooms are gorgeous, but compared to some of my other roses purchased at the same time, the blooms have been far and few in between. (Posted on 1/12/2015)
Good Purchase for tall focal pointReview by zizili

Bought this plant about 9 years ago and it is more amazing than the hybrid teas bought at same time. In fact, I have lost 3 HT in the same space of time. This bush is bug resistant and disease resistant. I have seen her covered in June bugs, yet survive and give more beautiful flowers in the fall.

To make sense of this, you should know that my gardening vigor usually wanes after mid June, so the survival of this bush has truly depended on the nature of the rose, not my great skill.

Important points:
* Must prune every year due to cross limbs
* Branches are very strong and thick
* Branches are relatively THORNLESS which really aids the pruning and clean falling of the petals.
* The flowers are strongly scented in the first flush, then as the heat grows, goes to light, but still exists.
* Leaves are nice and glossy and medium green

Nice rose, perhaps better in a dryer placeReview by Rose Crazy

I bought this rose 10 years ago from David Austin USA. The flowers were pretty and had many petals, with a hint of fragrance. The major problem was the rain. Once wet, the flowers would stop opening and mold. The nursery was very nice about it and offered me a different kind as a replacement. (Posted on 2/19/2014)
