wonderful foliage and good growthReview by jbelow

I'm in Zone 5a in Wisconsin. I planted this rose this summer and it has done very well. I haven't had any blooms, but it might get a bit too much shade from a crazy weigela kitty-corner to it; also, it has only been about 3 months or so since planting. I am training it up a trellis and have several branches to work with. The foliage is a beautiful dark green and makes for an attractive planting even without blooms. I'm very pleased with my whole Heirloom Roses order. I'm new to roses, and having spent a certain amount of time on the website reading up before creating an order, I feel that the information given was helpful and accurate. I will be back to order next spring if I can make room for more! (Posted on 9/28/2018)
survived several ridiculous MA wintersReview by cambridgerosarian

In Cambridge Mass (Zone 6b) this rose has thrived year after year despite winters that have knocked out many other roses in the garden. The flowers are about 2in, but unfortunately for me, mine came out all cream-colored :( which is disappointing, given how beautiful I imagine the pink & cream would be. Its susceptible to blackspot, but I treat with Bayer 3-in-1 pellets and the bush seems to do fine -- has lovely orange rose hips (Posted on 4/30/2018)

I have bought about 6 of these roses from Heirloom rose and have them planted along my fence. They are a rose that puts out loads and loads of flowers. The one bad thing about it is it can be susceptible to black spot if it is not either sprayed or given a systemic that also prevents against diseases like black spot and powdery mildew. The beauty of the flower from the time it is a bud until it is fully open is just beautiful to see. They make a beautiful flower bouquet for inside the house. They don't have much of a scent but I am fine with that since the coloring of the flower is like not many others. This is definitely my favorite rose and I have many many different kinds. I highly recommend this one. You won't be disappointed!!! (Posted on 6/7/2017)
