Strong, Beautiful, WomanReview by MomPerson
My Julia Child has been with me for about 15 years. She was potted at first and moved from on place to another, always doing well. Then we moved her into a permanent home in the corner of the side yard. This was a mistake in location as the fence cut off a lot of the sun. She went through a few years of neglect as I became ill and unable to garden. While I was languishing in my bed she took over and grew, and grew and grew Now I am back in the garden with lots of repair work to do and when I came face to face with her she was no longer a bush but a tree! Limbs were one inch in diameter and she was ten feet tall...where she could find the sun. And covered with huge, beautiful, startling yellow roses. What a will to live! She inspires me everyday. Stunning yellow roseReview by marian
I have three of these fresh, yellow roses and they provide enormous pleasure at every level: they brighten up the garden, have an unusual, delightful fragrance, are very healthy with glossy leaves needing very little or no disease control, and they bloom continuously throughout the summer. The new buds open to a rich, warm yellow which then fades gradually to a softer shade. What more could I ask? (Posted on 4/21/2017)
a happy yellow pure and deep colorReview by PAT
Mom and i get joy all summer into fall watching julia bloom abundatly. But just like her namesake thorny indeed. Beautiful hip display. We pick hips fortra.
A generous trouble free vigorous shrb which stands up to dry condition and my axe approach to pruning. Nice rounded shape dense we keep her to about 4ft (Posted on 3/27/2015)
I love this rose!Review by Ellis Q
The Julia Child rose never fails to bring me joy! It is such a pure deep yellow with nice glossy green leaves. It is spotless and it just illuminates the corner of my house. I highly recommend it. (Posted on 10/9/2014)
Best Rose in My GardenReview by Qcchips
I have six or seven varieties of roses planted and by far the Julia Child is my favorite. I have six of them. It is a beautiful shade of deep yellow, flowers all summer long in NC, and is extremely hardy. I do fertilize regularly and spray a natural fungicide to keep them healthy but they are low maintenance for such a beautiful rose. (Posted on 5/6/2014)
Beautiful, vigorous yellow roseReview by gertrude
I have two of these Julia Child yellow roses and they are stunning. In one year they grew to be shrubs (at least 2' X 2') with healthy, glossy leaves and gorgeous yellow blossoms. (Posted on 6/7/2013)
