Marie Van Houtte

Type: Tea Roses

A white, nearly white, blushed with pink repeat blooming Tea rose. A moderate fragrance will draw you in to the beauty of this rose. A hardy rose that has stood the test of time, also holding a strong 8.3 rating for ARS. Will make a nice large shrub.

My favorite, first to burst into bloom in the spring!Review by Mog
I love this cheerful sprawling bush, she never disappoints. I live in a hot summer climate, Austin. TX, Zone 9. She is shaded from the heat for a few hours mid day under the canopy of a small oak tree. The repeat bloom steady, and very disease resistant. The rose color changes from pale yellow/white tinged with faint pink, the mature blooms turn a deep pinkish red. It’s a multicolor bush. Only drawback is no fragrance. I can overlook it, as I have many roses (50) with fragrance. If you need something that performs in the heat, this is your baby. (Posted on 4/19/2018)
