Standout rose with personality; continually bloomingReview by MIke
I've grown this rose in years past on the traditional Dr. Huey rootstock of most California nurseries, and it did fine. But It is exceptionally vigarous on its own roots, especially for a 20th century hybrid tea. Once established, the blooms are very numerous and virtually continuous. The biggest blooms are with the first flush in spring, but I think that's because the later flushes split the bush's energy among so many individual blooms. Regardless, it always has classic refined florist rose bloom form, and the color is unique and beautiful. Tip for success, make sure this rose is watered well a few hours before spraying it or fertilizing it, and you'll avoid chemical burn. It seems a little more susceptible to that than most. Still a fantastic rose. (Posted on 4/22/2017)
Beautiful true lilac and ceriseReview by CM
My top choice for a "lilac"...strong grower, blooms well and are nice cut. The colors are stunning, silvery pale lilac, gorgeous cerise cherry edges from bud to finish. (Posted on 12/10/2016)
Love this rose, plan to get many more of itReview by ohiogreenthumb
All summer long and deep into late fall this stunner stayed covered in huge non-stop blooms that dazzle with vivid colors constantly changing! True lavender turning gradually to bright hot pink, each petal two-toned looking basically half red and half white. Strong winds were no match for the sturdy canes and the blooms stayed put even in extreme weather. I'm getting several more of these to put all around my property next year!!! (Posted on 11/19/2016)
Most beautiful rose everReview by blinkroc
Bought this uniquely colored rose 3 years ago, and it has done great in the Arizona heat, planted in partial shaded area. After 2 years decided to transplant into a pot on the porch. It nearly died, but came back strong and grew so fast. Large 6inch blooms of the most beautiful color! Deep lavender, red/violet. Very eye catching! My favorite of the 16 roses I have. I love this roseReview by leslie
I ordered this rose last summer. We had an extremely hot summer and I was sure the rose had died. Heirloom was going to send me a new this spring. However it came back to life and doubled in size and I have had my first rose this year. It is simply amazingly beautiful. It has changed colors 2 times pink to a light almost lavender then back the a two toned pink. It has bloomed for 10 days so far.! every one should have one of these Paradise roses that will take you to paradise each time you look at it!! (Posted on 5/20/2014)
