All my rose bushes came healthy and with leaves

Purchased one years ago and it climbed (trained) over my second story gutters, as I wanted it to, to provide a lavish display. Lost to witches broom a few years ago, so am ordering replacement. I live 40 miles NW of Chicago ( I am in Z5), and the plant grew in a wind tunnel along the ne corner of the house - and thrived. Tough plant!

This is the one rambler that I know will winter over in zone 5. I started growing it in an urban setting not realizing how vigorous it was. I relocated it to Northern Michigan, where it grows to the top of very tall pine and then cascades downwards. I have a cold spring here so it usually blooms in July for me. It is the centerpiece of the garden for the 6 weeks it blooms for me. Just gorgeous!!

I live in SE Kansas and planted this rose about 3-4 years ago in partial shade on a chain link fence. I am not exaggerating, it is over 30' long and puts on the most magnificent show every spring. I absolutely cannot wait for it to bloom every year. I do wish it was a repeat bloomer, however, it gives me that much more to look forward to every year this way not to mention every year I am constantly amazed at just how LARGE this beautiful rose has become! It has such a nice fragrance but beware it is extremely thorny. It is definitely a highlight in my yard and I am considering planting a couple more of them along the opposite fence line.
