A Beauty!Review by Maggie from Ohio
This bush arrived in good condition and grew beautifully. After a year, it is about 2.5' tall. Seems to grow a little slower and bloom a little later than the other roses I had ordered. The beautiful light pink roses are well worth the wait, and are my favorite. After a pretty cold winter, she grew back stronger. These flowers are so pretty cut! (Posted on 6/12/2017)
Profuse bloom. Winter Hardy in St Paul, MN Review by Pat S
I have had Quietness for about 4 years now. She has pulled through the last 4 winters with no winter protection. She is nearly 4 feet tall and blooms profusely way into the fall until it snows, often when all the other roses have stopped. She starts blooming a little later in the spring than some of the other roses I have like Therese Bugnet and spring blooming only Alba Roses. Beautiful light pink, high centered flowers. Truly an amazing rose!Review by Laurie
Quietness is both beautiful in the landscape, and beautiful in the vase. The rose is a sturdy shrub. Heavy base structure, and thick sturdy canes. Mine grew to about 6 feet tall and wide the first season. She has lived through two winters with sub zero polar vortex temps. She survived an appalling attack of Japanese beetles (I garden organically and nothing seemed to stop them that breeding season). I've not seen blackspot on her, either. She blooms in mostly sprays, and we have blooms from early spring til late October. This rose would make an amazing hedge, and definitely serves as a wonderful shrub. I love Buck roses, for their resilience and cold hardiness, and Quietness is a stunning example. I find the scent to be fairly strong in the mornings, all day if temps don't rise too high.
