Red Eden is Breathtaking!Review by iriswarrior1

I am in Zone 10, and gave my husband a Red Eden rosebush as an anniversary gift in July. His plant is still small, only 3 1/2 feet, but has started blooming, and the roses are incredibly beautiful and sweetly scented. This is its first flowering, the first blooms were deep pink-red, but each successive bloom has been a deeper richer red. I have the most beautiful photo of a red bud opening, I wish I could share it. The best thing about Red Eden is the bloom longevity--each bloom has lasted for two WEEKS before starting to fade! Heirloom roses are worth EVERY PENNY you spend on them, they are strong, vigorous and beautiful. (Posted on 10/10/2018)

Red Eden was the only rose that survived the planting that I did on one of the hottest weeks here. Stupid of me to try to plant anything that time of year. Of course, when I ordered them I didn't know that it would be so hot later. And I was at the mercy of my yard guy's schedule. The high temp was very hard on the other roses I planted, but Red Eden came through ok. I even covered them up with UV netting to protect them. I noticed that it has put out A new thick cane, and the plant put out a few blossoms. Can't wait to see what it does next year. Now that it's fall, I'll plant some more, but I'll avoid planting in the heat again. (Posted on 10/11/2017)

Still blooming into the fall. I can't wait to see what it does next season. Luscious and fragrant, it is already climbing, although on the ground as recommended the first few seasons. Dark shiny leaves, no pests, am very pleased with Red Eden. (Posted on 9/27/2017)

In spite of having to wait several months until this rose was in stock, it arrived right on time, (we requested a two-week delay for an upcoming trip we never took), and was in perfect shape, unboxed.

We've had rather an atypically cool/cold Spring/Summer, with far more cloudy days than usual for the Olympic Peninsula, WA, but the baby rose bush is flourishing. The first couple blossoms were a little beat up looking, but those that have followed duplicate HR's website photo---unbelievable perfect double blossoms. If I could add a photo, I would.
I highly recommend this rose for anyone whose climate allows it. This climber is a showstopper.
