A very healthy plantReview by Dad's Rose
My Rugosa Rose was in wonderful condition when I received it. The packaging was great in that it protected it completely and the roots were slightly moist. I planted it according to instructions and, although it did not have blooms this summer, it certainly is a very healthy bush. I would order from this company again. (Posted on 9/28/2017)
Well-packaged and HealthyReview by Boswah
Within a week, leave started to grow and it has growing rapidly ever since. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and will definitely refer others to Heirloom Roses. (Posted on 6/26/2017)
My Favorite RoseReview by Carrie
Over 30 years ago I had a hedge of these in my front yard and they were so prolific and could take anything thrown at them(they were 3 feet from the road in way upstate NY where they were pelted each winter by salt and anything else the snowplows could dredge up). I loved the smell and made a lot of rose water and oils and potpourris from the flowers and lots of jam and tea from the huge hips in the fall. Now that I'm in my new house in the country I new I just had to find some again and my search brought me here. It's hard to find actual 'rosa rugosa' but these guys have them! I was so delighted I ordered 2(for now). The best part about receiving roses from this company is the way they arrive. I have never seen anyone package their plants as well as Heirloom Roses does. There was no way any damage could have been done to them in transit and I've seen a lot of damage to shipped plants, but not these. When I took them out of the boxes they looked as good as if I'd purchased them at a local nursery and brought them home myself. I am so very satisfied with the roses and the company and will continue to buy all my roses from them. (Posted on 5/13/2017)
Wonderful fragranceReview by Delores
These are very nice rose bushes. They are Rugosas, so lots of prickly 'hairs' along the stems, but hardy and the flowers have a great fragrance. Also, one of mine already (first year) started to spread... love that! I didn't do anything to it, but there are side shoots coming up. (Posted on 12/8/2016)
