Beverly is a delight to the senses with her pink color and over-the-top, exceptional fragrance. Take a gentle sniff and you will quickly pick up notes of orange, peach, pear and plum! Beverly’s very full, gentle pink blooms, with up to 45 petals, are borne mostly solitary and have a high-centered bloom form. They grow on a tall, bushy, and upright plant with healthy, dark green foliage. While she appears delicate, this rose is tough when it comes to fighting diseases and has good resistance to blackspot and mildew. She has won many awards and can also be recognized under the name Pink Perfection.

Beverly - Gamble Fragrance Award Winner

Zone 5b, Lake Superior, NW Michigan
I am a collector of roses that have won the ARS's James A. Gamble Fragrance Award, and in my climate, own-root do best.
I am taking a chance ordering a potted plant this late in the season for us. She arrived 8/31 & promptly got her in the ground. I have ordered from HR before, so I know what to expect with their bare-root potted roses - No foliage, but very green, albeit thin canes. Leaves started sprouting after just a couple of days as we had some above-normal temperatures. 3 weeks later, more foliage & looking very healthy. Forecast is giving me more hope that the roots will develop over the next 2 weeks. I will be giving her a little extra snow-load protection over the winter, as our avg. snowfall is 250". Right now, she is progressing very nicely.

Very sturdy and healthy

Well packaged, and arrived in great shape. Hardly any leaves when received but within a few days after planting (some I planted in pots, some in ground), all of them have wonderful leaves and growing taller and stronger. We'll see when it's bloom time but they look like they should survive the PNW winter just fine.

Amazing fragrance!

I got this rose in May and the first bloom appeared in mid July - a very big fragrant bloom with a nice creamy pink color!
