Everything about this experience has been fantastic. The website is easy to navigate and we get to choose the ship date. I bought two plants, this one and a Mister Lincoln. They arrived safe and well packaged. I had to leave them set in my house for a week. I put them near a window and they started popping out leaves all over. They are in the ground now and doing amazing. I will definitely return any time I need more roses.

I ordered four of these to flank a new wall in the yard, with 3 white Seafoam roses on the hill to the side. I wish I could submit photos. They're all doing incredibly well for the first year (we have 5 2nd year Heirloom roses doing well also), but the Champlain immediately began blooming and growing to quadruple their sizes in less than 2 months. They're gorgeous and so hardy! Wonderful form too.

Zone 7a. This is my first rose, and I am very pleased with it! I planted this rose in my front garden, where it gets probably 8-10 hours of direct sunlight daily, in mid-May. The heat of the summer has burned a few leaves, but otherwise the rose seems to have thrived. It's now on its third blooming cycle since the beginning of June. The flowers are deep red when they first open, and fade to a bright magenta over time. And there are so many of them! Each cycle, it produces 20+ blooms over a few weeks in concentrated bursts. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it overwinters well, and I'm excited to see how the hips turn out.

My zone 4 Champlain Rose is doing great and has lots of roses on it.

Zone 4b-5a. Champlain is the first rose I planted here in Black Hills in mid-1990's. It's never shown a speck of disease, and it blooms in clusters continuously all summer. The only reason I can't give it all 5 stars is the lack of fragrance.
