The first one to bloom

I received 7 roses from Heirloom Roses, and Eternal Flame was the first one to gift us with a bloom only a week after planting it in the ground. Really impressive! I actually cut the first rose to bring it inside to enjoy it more and give the young plant further strength to establish well. My 3 young girls and my husband were so excited about the first rose. I bought fertilizers recommended by this wonderful company, and my gardener and I followed the instructions carefully when planting the roses. I really think this was the reason for such a quick success. It appears, even though so early in the game, that this rose is doing well in hot and humid climate like South Florida (we live in Miami). Thank you for the healthy and beautiful rose!

Lovely soft yellow rose

Eternal Flame is one of the best bloomers in my garden. I’ve had her for two years now...She’s about 5 feet tall, and is always full of pretty, highly fragrant blooms. They start out a deeper shade of yellow, then fade into a more buttery color as they age. Her scent is heavenly! Her stems are quite sturdy, so she is the perfect cut rose. She took off immediately when I got her last year, but has given me even more beautiful blooms this year. If you’re looking to add a soft yellow rose to your garden, I highly recommend Eternal Flame. She does very well here in Seattle, zone 8b!

Outstanding yellow rose

I fully agree with the other two reviewers. At our county fair in northern Ohio it won 2nd place in 2017 and 2018. I love the color, the fragrance and the classical shape on long stems. It fits well in the garden being narrow and upright. It is resistant to black spot which is an issue for some of my other roses (I have a hundred rose plants). I like the continual blooming and have had no problems with it in zone 5/6 winters. The name Eternal Flame was especially meaningful for me: I bought it with my aunt at the time of the passing of her daughter, my cousin. We think of it as an eternal flame for my cousin.

Wonderful Light Yellow Rose

This rose has done very well in my garden that I now have four in my garden. Although we are not in a blackspot prone area, nonetheless it has been very blackspot resistant and disease resistant in general. I highly recommend it. It is a tall, narrow bush which works well for me.

Awesome rose

I bought this from Heirloom for a rose to plant with the ashes of my beloved and awesome dog, and it has proved an outstanding rose. The "flame" part of the name is perhaps not all that appropriate, since it is a light yellow -- maybe a soft, candle flame? It is extremely healthy and vigorous--it took off immediately after planting and it has had virtually no blackspot in my no-spray garden. The growth is very upright and it wants to get tall. It bears classic hybrid tea roses all season on very long stems that are great for cutting. The fragrance is very strong and rather damask-like--unusual in a yellow rose. It is also quite hardy -- it came through a winter with below-zero temperatures with almost no die-back. Highly recommended.
