Groundcover Roses

Ground cover roses come in a variety of forms but they share the characteristics of long spreading branches that spread and spills across the ground. Most are repeat flowering, have little or no scent, and grow from the base of the plant. Ground cover roses look great at the front of a bed or draped over the edge of low walls. They require the same treatment as other roses. Pruning consists of keeping the plant to shape and occasionally pruning the center of the plant to let air circulate.
