She is a keeper..... she leafed out and started throwing out buds shortly after planting ..... small blooms ....& has a delicate fragrant ..w? time will get much stronger .... She is Happy and I'm Thrilled can't wait till spring to see her show off

I have a very young garden , about one year and a half with 100 roses in Florida zone 10A Hawkeye belle grew quickly. And showed absolutely beautiful show of the blooms Creamy with pinkish shades roses look not real perfect with colors and the shape whole plant Unfortunately our neighbors poisoned their lawn from the bugs and that spray went to my gorgeous bush of the beauty queen I lost it and keep checking when that rose will be available- defiantly want to order one more

Lovely color, with outer petals so fragile that they start slightly browning way before full bloom. Hawkeye Bell was protected with mulch and did well over winter here in zone 6b. She produced three very small (more on knockout rose scale) flower buds, but no matter how anxious I am to welcome her blooms, this is her first summer so I'm not mad)))
Other little kinks about her:
She's pretty but has no cutting longevity.
No fragrance so far, hopefully later when she matures.
She was planted into organic soil mix, with regular HR fish fertilizing, but her her growth vigor is less than enthusiastic.
Lastly, if you have voles better be safe and protect your baby rose by planting her into a 15 gallon 1/4" netting bag or bucket. It'll give her room to establish main roots and if voles would occasionally nibble on roots outgrown netting perimeter, it won't matter.

Arrived with little to no foliage but in a few weeks time, has now exploded with rich dark green leaves & is just about ready to put out her 1st blooms! So far so good.

I truly like the pink and cream color combination to be found in this rose. I also appreciate the fact that it was bred by Dr. Buck who created many hardy roses. I also bought it because it is described as being very fragrant but so far I am disappointed on that score. Either my sense of smell has diminished significantly as I've grown older or perhaps I don't have the gene needed to detect the particular fragrance that this rose is supposed to have (it's more likely the former). In any case, I'm still waiting to discover what the blooms are supposed to smell like and maybe, because of my age, I never will.
