Being the only strong-smelling rose of the Veranda collection, Veranda® Cream stands out with its elegant color and old-fashioned bloom form. She is a repeat bloomer from mid-spring through fall and her compact size and manageable growth habit make her easy to care for through the season. Veranda® Cream thrives in containers as well as in a garden setting.

Blooming!

I received this plant on 04/26/23 and already have a bloom!

Blooming already

Got mine a few weeks ago and it has already sprouted a handful of buds. I can’t wait for the bloom! The other rose I got, Crazy Love, is only leaves, so I’m super happy with how quickly Cream Veranda produced flowers!

Already blooming

I received a healthy, leafed out Cream Veranda 8/31, during a week of 100-102 degree heat. I kept her inside during the heat of the day in a south-facing room for several days. When the heat came down to a balmy 95 outside she went. She put on new growth a week after arriving. The next week she started setting buds, 12 in all. Now she's finally in the ground and covered with lovely peach/apricot centered blooms that pale to cream at the edges. Flowers so far are about 2-3/4" across (appropriate for this variety), small but charming. I didn't rate her 5 stars only because there's no detectable fragrance and her hardiness in our high desert winters remains to be proven. That said I've never had a rose so eager to grow and bloom (despite the heat). Can't wait to see how she settles in next spring. Zone 7A

Almost great

I have had cream veranda for 2 years, growing it in a pot in zone 7A. It is vigorous and floriferous, and disease resistance is very good. The only con is that the lovely blooms do not last long—just 2 or 3 days.
