A very striking rose. If you like brightly colored roses 'Tequila Sunrise' is for you. Quoting Sally Allison's book Shrub Roses, "As fiery as it's cocktail namesake and as dazzling as a sunrise". Rich deep yellow petals edged in hot scarlet red. Dark green leaves provide the perfect foliage for its 4" flower (petals 40). Very popular in Europe and New Zealand. Winner of England's Royal National Rose Society Gold Medal in 1988. Continual blooming.
