Unique and beautiful

I planted two of these this year. Hardy and quite beautiful. Very unique in its foliage and color. Color Goes so well next to other roses. Really love this rose.

Glorious!

I have asked more questions about this rosebush than any other. Didn’t realize how differently they grow than my others. I love Basye’s! The plant was gorgeous when it arrived and is 3 times bigger than when I planted it! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Basye's hit the ground running

This rose is amazing! I planted her in March, and there were 4 new thick canes growing from the ground 6 to 10 inches away from the main base stem in under 3 months. She had a few small flowers, color true to the photos, but it looks like she wants to get bigger before she blooms out. There are a plethora of small prickles; will have to use the gloves to trim this one. I have her under a tree in dappled sunlight, seems like she likes it there. intense color, very hale

I just planted mine this year so I can't comment to how it winters. I can say that it arrived gloriously healthy. Once it was planted it took right off and gave me an initial few blooms. The color of mine is darker than the pictures and the pictures can't show how velvety and rich the texture of the petals are. Its now putting on a second flush of blooms. My yard has been plagued by aphids and black spot this year but with appropriate care this rose is extremely healthy. I'm looking forward to enjoying it for many years to come.

Beautiful

The pic doesn't capture the deep purple of this flower. It is dark rich velvety purple. A stand-out in the garden. Disease free
