April Moon features yellow-edged red buds unfurling to display clusters of double, 4-5” blooms of lemon yellow. This continual bloomer is sweetly fragrant. April Moon’s blooms display red edging and coppery tinted leaves in cool weather and change to soft, creamy yellow petals and rich, dark green, leathery foliage as the warmer weather encourages her growth. She is an upright but spreading pant that is extremely hardy in colder zones and heat resistant up to zone 10.

She’s surviving in the snow

I ordered this for our new home in Montana.
After planting her in the growing bed and taking care of her for the first two or so weeks, i moved her to our new home in Montana. Only watering it the day we arrived and the next day when we left.
About a month later we went to our new home to work on some stuff and found her covered in the snow but SURVIVED!!!!

This is the reason I purposely ordered from this place knowing that the rose will survive, and I was right!!!!

Performing well for 7 years

I live in zone 6b, in St. Louis. Due to wild temperature fluctuations with both freezing temps and high heat and humidity, it’s not ideal for rose growing but I’ve had April Moon in my garden for about seven years and it performs well without much care. April Moon looks like a shrub, It got to be about 6 ft tall but I cut it back significantly. The pale yellow flowers look white at times, and they show up well in the late evening and look delightful next to my patio. I’ve never smelled any sort of fragrance on this one in my garden, so that was a disappointment at first but I love how vigorous and beautiful it is and would plant it again if I had space.

Lovely White

I was not a white rose person but this lovely has changed my mind. Only in the ground 2. 5 months doing great. The first to bloom and continues to bloom. For it being a baby rose it is doing great. If buy it again.

Perfect for the Rockies

My favorite rose by far. I live in the Rockies, Zone 4b. This beauty survives heavy snow and very cold temps in the winter without additional protection and blooms prolifically all summer in dry conditions with intense sun. I’ve had no problem with pests or disease.
