Gold Struck produces prolific, golden yellow blooms occasionally tinged with a hint of orange in the center. The more sun she receives, the more intensely she pushes out clusters of blooms. She is a vigorous grower and very disease resistant, blooming in flushes and creating the loveliest dark green foliage to offset her flowers. We love Gold Struck in a cut flower garden as she offers a bright and cheery addition to arrangements.

Lovelier than expected

I received this beauty the last week of March of this year (2023) along with a Coretta Scott King. When she arrived, she already had quite a bit of foliage, but no buds. I hardened GS off for a little less than a week then placed her in a large pot in a sunny spot in my backyard near a window. It is now the 2nd week of May and my Gold Struck is covered in foliage, new buds and blooms with a lovely sweet scent. I am looking forward to seeing her flourish even more and hope she stays healthy. I am in awe of her beauty. Like another reviewer, her blooms make me smile every time I glance her way. zone 8b in central Texas.

Gorgeous and Smell Devine

I LOVE this rose! It’s gorgeous and smells divine! Definitely struck gold taking a chance with this one. It had no reviews but I just had to see for myself what this rose could do. I was pleasantly surprised. It’s constantly producing large beautiful roses in varying shades of yellow. It grew so fast and is so hardy. It’s seriously such a happy rose bush and one of my favorites. It makes me smile every time I see it. There hasn’t been a day without a rose. LOVE IT!!

Stunning flowers

I just got this rose and planted it about 3 weeks ago. Already got one ABSOLUTELY STUNNING bloom. Large rose, lightly scented with a very thin coppery edging. It was gorgeous from the bud onwards. I sent pictures to friends who could not believe it was real. Have a couple more buds so hoping to get more flowers to place in bud vases in the house.
