This award winning rose features large, classically formed, fully double buds and 5-6" blooms with a petal count of 36+. Her shocking pink color and intense fragrance make her a favorite with exhibitors. We love her large, dark green, glossy foliage and upright, bushy growth habits. Electron has won many awards including: AARS 1973, Gold Medal Winner at Belfast, Ireland, Portland Oregon, The Hague, Holland, and the Royal National Rose Society's Gold Medal in 1969. Electron would make a lovely gift for pink rose lovers and science-lovers alike!

Unique color

Received this rose along with Deep Secret about the end of June. Electron was slower to start growing but now end of July and it is now blooming. Very dark pink color and lovely fragrance.

Exquisite!

Initially, I planted this rose in a front yard with not much sun light. It was not happy. I only saw 1 rose once. A year later, I moved it to my backyard with a lot more sunlight. It rewarded me with 3 giant blooms within just 2 weeks, and there are many more buds to come. I was fascinated with what a difference it made to give this rose much needed sun in such a short period of time. I cannot have enough of her beauty! P.S.: If you need to move your rose, be sure to take great care and research on the best ways to move it. Roses do not like to be moved. But, I made sure I watered her and fertilized her with much needed nutrients to support the stress of the move.

Amazing, giant, fragrant blooms in AZ

This rose plant does not disappoint! I ordered it last year and because our yard isn't compete yet, it's been in a ceramic pot. It is so happy and even bloomed within a few weeks! I'm about 30 miles East of Phoenix and only water it when the soil is dry.

Bright and Fragrant!!!

Have this growing in a pot in backyard and it's the first to bloom. I'm in NYC and despite leaving it outside all year, it survived the sudden drop in temperatures into sub-zero for few days. This is the second year that I have it and is doing exceptionally well....fragrant, big blooms!!! Love this rose!!!

Healthy and Happy

Our Electron rose arrived bare, but it quickly put on leaves once we planted it in a container and fertilized with fish solution sold by Heirloom. It has produced two roses so far, both were lovely but not as large or colorful as we expected--but we think that is due to the heat. We are new to the Houston-zone 9 area and our house and we're still finding the best placement for our roses during the summer. Overall we are very happy with the health and production of the plant when we've only had it for a few months.
