Type: Hybrid Tea
Very possibly the most fragrant of all deep red roses. Large, beautifully shaped 4 1/2" blooms (petals 24+) double and a rich, very dark, velvety, crimson-red which holds well. Its sensational and almost overwhelming fragrance won for it the Edland Medal for Fragrance given by the Royal National Rose Society of England. Continual blooming with strong, healthy, robust growth and attractive, coppery green disease-resistant foliage. Magnificent in every way. Makes a good cut flower.
