Beautiful, healthy rose!

I bought Sultry Sangria from Heirloom last year. It settled into the flower bed quickly, and started pumping out these absolutely gorgeous blooms. It survived a very challenging winter, leafed out well this spring and now is sending up a gorgeous spring flush. I am on the east coast and get a lot of blackspot, but this rose seems to be pretty resistant. The color of the blooms is amazing. They start out a rich, vibrant deep red and then start taking on the deeper purple colors as the blooms get older. Really really beautiful.

Highly Recommending

I purchased several roses from Heirloom Roses for the very first time this January. I live in coastal Zone 8, so I was able to plant them in the middle of winter. Sultry Sangria already had a few new leaves when it arrived and it was the first one among the whole bunch to take off growing. Only 1.5 months after I planted it in the pot, it started blooming in the beginning of March and has been blooming continuously ever since. I love everything about this rose. It's fast growing, super healthy, care free and thornless. The flowers could have several shades of color at the same time: some of them are maroon red, some are lighter red and they turn almost purple after a few days. The scent is also pleasant, for me it's more than lightly fragrant. I can't be happier with this purchase. Thank you, Heirloom Roses!

Hardy and beautiful after four years

My Sultry Sangrias have been potted by the water in NY for four years with no fuss. They bloom continuously and late in the season, attract bees, and receive many compliments.

Came back strong after Winter

Very vigorous growth 1st thing this Spring. Just planted last year. A cluster of blooms bright and attractive. Not quite the color of the pictures and when picked it goes quickly to pink. Enjoying!

I am very pleased with this rose. Already blooming 2 weeks after receiving and transplanting. Growing in full sun in Las Vegas.
