Sunny Sky amazes with her apricot buds opening into large, elegantly shaped petals in honey yellow. Her rare-colored blooms emit a fruity fragrance and sit on sturdy stems, making them a great cut rose. She is a prolific producer of medium, double (17-25 petals) blooms. We love Sunny Sky for her perfect, ruffled petals and cheery coloring - a bright spot on any day!

Pretty and strong too

Planted in Fall 2020 this rose came through the winter fine and has put on a lot of height. 3 well formed blossoms are holding up well in a vase.

Thriving in the tropics!

This is one of a very selected group of roses that can tolerate, not only heat and humidity of the tropics, but the salty ocean breeze. I took a chance and I now have gorgeous very, large long-stemmed, very fragrant roses a block away from the beach.

Sunny Sky

I ordered this for a friend in memory of her daughter who passed away—I heard it bloomed and was beautiful. She really appreciated being able to look out her window and have this beautiful reminder of her daughter.

Remarkably vigorous and floriferous

This year I ordered three own-root hybrid teas from Heirloom -- two old favorites and one Kordes: "Mister Lincoln," "Tropicana" and "Sunny Sky." I followed their planting instructions to the letter, and now all three are thriving and blooming. In fact, the bushes have tripled in size in a relatively short amount of time -- despite punishingly hot and windy days here in Central Texas (zone 8). Thank you, Heirloom Roses!
