I've wanted roses for a long time, just never had a house with the right location until we moved to a new house this year. I received this and three other roses on August 12, and was pretty skeptical about how my first foray was going to go... The plants looked pretty small (healthy, but tiny!) when they came out of the box. I couldn't get them in the ground for a couple of weeks and by the time I planted them they had a good number of leaves on the branches. Now, a week and a half later, I see the first bloom forming. I was definitely not expecting any flowers this season. Even if this one doesn't fully form and open, I'm taking it as proof that the roses are happy with their location and that they are doing well. Very happy so far!

I purchased this rose basically on her name. I have a deep feeling towards anything that celebrates those who gave so much during the years of WWII...I also have Courageous, which is quite the show piece after four months. But, Rosie the Riveter has become my new favorite rose. The colors are mesmerizing and blooms are beautiful. I recently sent her as a gift to family in another state, and they, too, really love her.

This bush does beautifully in my zone 9 garden. Tons of blooms and reblooms and a very sturdy looking plant. I’ve had it in the ground about 2 years.

I loved the colors of this rose when I saw one. It did well first flush with beautiful vibrant multi-colored blooms. But now high heat, humidity and lots of rain have hit Nashville, and overnight the leaves are turning yellow, falling off, and very few new blooms despite routine spraying. Hoping it will come back as it was fabulous at the beginning.

2nd year for Rosie was hot and humid. She started off great. Big beautiful blooms during first flush. Then die off, small malformed blooms,dropped leaves in spite of regular watering and treatment. If not better 2021, will replace with something else.
