Type: Rugosa

A rugosa hybrid of great beauty and most unusual color. The double blooms are a clear yellow suffused with pink. A vigorous, upright bush with bright shiny bronzy-green foliage that shows a hint of its rugosa ancestry. Hardy zones 5-9.

Beautiful RoseReview by Alice
I'm in zone 8. This is a beautiful rose. Mine did not really have a yellow flower but had a delicate cream with yellow and pink blushing throughout. It was not what I expected but is a beauty, it reminds me of the old fashioned roses of my childhood. (Posted on 10/13/2018)
Winter hopes for RugeldaReview by Andie
Of the 17 Heirloom roses I planted last summer, 16 became superstars over the remainder of the growing season. I decided to replace the one that arrived dead with a Rugelda, which did not become available until Black Friday. Heirloom reps were extraordinarily helpful in overcoming problems with online order over Thanksgiving holiday. Customer service has also been superior during each of my previous contacts. Thanks, Heirloom. I'm looking forward to Rugelda showing her colors this coming spring. (Posted on 12/3/2016)
