Soaring Spirits™

Type: Climbing Roses

Named to honor the victims of 9/11. This climber produces huge, showy clusters of ever-changing pastel pink, yellow and cream hues. Glossy, bright green foliage and nearly lime-green new growth sets this vigorous climber apart from any other rose.

We are no longer growing Soaring Spirits™ but will maintain this listing for reference purposes.

Spectacular Rose ! Review by Barbara

I purchased four Soaring Spirits from Heirloom Roses. They are each on large metal pillars in my "Beatrix Potter/Peter Rabbit statue garden". Zone 9 Northern California can be very hot but these roses always look amazing. They are resistant to rust and mildew. I do cut them back because the garden is more formal. Garden club members always ask me the name. If you want to get a climber similar to Soaring Spirit...one of the parents, I believe, is Berries 'n Cream (climber). Soaring Spirit is 5" across with up to 8 petals...a true beauty dedicated to 9/11. (Posted on 4/22/2018)
Love this rose!Review by Chloe

I have had this beautiful rose in my garden since 2006 and it is still growing strong. I live at the northern end of Connecticut so my zone is 5 or 6. It has grown to 7 or 8ft tall and during the summer months it is loaded with amazing blooms. I am very happy with my rose and sad that Heirloom no longer offers this wonderful climber. Just like the description only better. It came with a bloom and hasn't stopped. My jewel of my courtyard. (Posted on 10/5/2015)
