What a gorgeous rose. The orange color is deeper on the bud, and then ages into a beautiful apricot color. Many rose flowers don’t look good as they age, but this one does. As always, it came as a baby from Heirloom, and is so healthy it took off, just like every other bush I’ve gotten from HR. Brand-new last season, this season it is already blooming profusely. Foliage is beautiful darker green and seems to be mildew resistant. I absolutely love this rose.
Tatin arrived very healthy and ready to grow. I love the flowers on this rose!! They’re such a pretty, warm color and so ruffly! It’s not a fast grower and is somewhat prone to blackspot, but it’s a great rose and one I’m happy to have in my garden.
I received this and planted it in Mid-September. After only 2 months, it just opened it's first bloom and there's another on the way!! The apricot color is stunning and the plant is very healthy.
I planted this rose approximately one month ago. Within two weeks of planting, my entire yard was trenched for an irrigation system. Tatin was in a rather small bed, so the crew didn’t have much room for all the dirt. I went out one evening to find Tatin almost buried, protected with her back to my small concrete birdbath. The workers had tipped the birdbath on its side and mounded the dirt all around. It was the saddest sight! One week ago the job was finally complete, Tatin was breathing fresh air and was adorned with fresh mulch and compost at her feet. As of today, Tatin is covered in blooms and buds. I thought the stress would kill her, but she has proven herself a true fighter. The blooms are very small, as expected for her first baby steps, but I know she will grow to be everything Heirloom’s description promises. I can’t wait to see what next year brings. (Zone 8b)
