Fantastsic grower!Review by Kelly
This rose is reaching to the sky after just one summer! The fragrance is lovely, and it is growing straight and tall, with no support. I will be moving it this fall to showcase its strengths better. It is absolutely lovely, and a delight to look out my window and see. (Posted on 9/12/2017)
Actually gasped when I saw the first bloom up closeReview by Karin
Bought this based on the above reviews to place in a sunny corner to provide dappled shade to a Japanese maple. It's currently blooming for the first time. The alternating yellow and orange in the center petals was a real surprise. Happy to add it to my developing perennial bed. (Posted on 6/1/2017)
Truly Unique RoseReview by RosesEqualHappiness
I've had this rose for about 5 years and it's one of my favorites. Very easy to grow and vigorous. Doesn't need much and every year it grows back strong. The picture you have in this online catalogue does not do it justice! Amazing pinks with orange blends that start darker and lighten with age. Nice smell. It truly feels like an impressionist painting and a unique rose. (Posted on 5/11/2017)
Winner--Garden and Shows!Review by Corky
Produced multiple blooms even as a young plant, and blanketed the fence when mature. Long-lasting blooms that hold color well provide lengthy displays and hold up well on the show table. I've won several Best Climber trophies with this rose! I do give it some winter protection just in case Cleveland, Ohio has a tough season. (Posted on 5/2/2017)
Beautiful and HardyReview by julieanneabanana
I planted my Impressionist last year. It grew nearly two feet in the first year, and produced gorgeous apricot-colored roses. We have cold winters here in Massachusetts, but the rose survived its first winter and is showing green growth already this spring. (Posted on 4/26/2017)
Gorgeous Blooms, Unique, Smell AmazingReview by Sam
Love these! Caught some kind of blight and nearly died last year, but rebounded really well and even the new growth held up really well during an unseasonable frost. Blooming for me right now. A very uniquely shaped rose with a heady scent. Love the way the colors change as the rose matures. (Posted on 4/21/2017)
Beautiful color.Review by I don't eat bacon
You can't go wrong with the color and loaded with buds. They doing good in North CA. I ordered 4 of them last years. (Posted on 3/14/2016)
Tough!Review by Rusty
One of two potted roses to survive the winter of 2013 unscathed and now growing and loaded with buds. A standout!!! (Posted on 4/22/2014)
A village wonderReview by Don
I planted the Impressionist in my small village of Seebach, in France (Alsace). It has turned into the wonder of the village in the 4 years it has been growing on an old stone wall (15' high). This village is a famous one, having been awarded 3 rosettes out of 4 by Paris. The tourist busses stop and many take photos of this wonderous sight. My neighbor (on whose wall it grows has thanked me many time for it. This is what improves US-France relationships. (Posted on 1/15/2014)
