The Pilgrim™®

Type: David Austin

An excellent pure yellow rose that combines unusually strong and healthy growth with 4" blooms (petals 60) of the utmost delicacy and charm. These are quite large and evenly shaped, with many small petals opening to form a flat flower. They have a softness of texture which is most pleasing, and look particularly graceful arranged in a bowl and a strong fragrance of Tea and myrrh produced on a continual blooming bush.

Beautiful Soft YellowReview by Jeri
Rating
I live in Southern Oregon where roses grow well. The Pilgrim is amazing. I was looking for a bright yellow rose and was surprised when this beauty bloomed. Very soft yellow that pares well with my James Galway and a few other soft colors in my garden. I am able to cut roses from my bushes and have such beautiful arrangements in my home soft and beautiful colors. Still searching for that perfect bright yellow rose. Will be buying more roses from Heirloom Roses in the spring! (Posted on 8/16/2018)
A favorite of favoritesReview by Steeple

I love The Pilgrim! I have purchased it three times for my last three homes -- can't be without it! It combines well with my perennials as the bush is not dense with branches and leaves and makes a great cut flower. The yellow is perfect -- a true pale yellow that blooms good in partial shade. The foliage is a dark green with little disease problems. Overall one of my very favorites! (Posted on 11/22/2016)
