The Poet is an English-style Shrub rose for those who prefer smaller, more compact plants. She produces fully double, 3 ½” blooms of 40+ petals in deep, primrose yellow. She emits a strong fragrance on a short, continual blooming plant and has very shiny, deep green, holly-like foliage. The Poet is perfect for the cottage garden or anywhere else.

Beautiful rose - produced within 6 weeks

I can't believe it, but my plant has produced 10 - 15 roses only 6 weeks after receiving and transplanting. Beautiful. I followed their videos exactly and am very glad I did.

Nice Compact Rose

The Poet is a slow grower but it's worth the wait, the blooms are very fragrant. The primrose yellow fades to a cream as the bloom ages. Very disease resistant and aphids don't seem to like them, I assume the glossy leaves have something to do with it. They look good with apricot colored roses or red daylilys in a vase, alyssum or candytuft make nice accompanying plants.
