Last summer, when the Tulsa Town I ordered arrived, I was concerned that it appeared to have some black spot on the leaves, and a faint whitish powder on the plant. Now almost a year later, the plant still has black spot, in spite of my best efforts. It puts out an occasional flower (pretty and fragrant), but remains spindly, with blackspot on all of its 20 leaves. I'm going to try again with another Tulsa Town. I hope there's no problem with it. All my other roses from you are doing fine! Thank You. The buds are exquisite and have great substance. The open blooms are high-centered, fully double, and usually come singly. Tulsa Town's color is a vibrant, deep orange with a bright gold reverse--just gorgeous. The bush is medium/small and upright; it does blackspot in our Florida heat and humidity, but builds some resistance with a good fertilization program.Rating
The only disappointment is that it is listed as very fragrant, but mine has no detectable fragrance whatsoever. (Posted on 10/6/2014)
