Twilight Zone

Type: Grandiflora

Big fat buds open to very double old-fashioned flowers of deep velvet purple overlaid with a wisp of smoke... a purple haze for the garden. Strong scent of clove and lemony citrus blossom. Medium, semi-glossy, dark green foliage. The purple will be deeper in more moderate temperatures.

Gorgeous!Review by Maggie

This rose is gorgeous. After it arrived in great condition, we planted it and it bloomed all summer and grew a fair amount. The color was more dark pink than purple, though it has gotten deeper as the bush matures. I have read that the purple color will come with time and cooler temperatures, and am willing to wait it out. Even with the darker pink color, she is beautiful. A little bit of black spot, but as wet as it’s been, it was not a huge concern. The first year is such an adjustment period that I look forward to seeing the growth next year. (Posted on 9/22/2018)

The reviews for this gorgeous rose are accurate - this is a gorgeous rose that had very little black spot and vigorous growth and flowering the first year I planted it. I am in zone 8 here in Portland, OR. This rose is lovely cut, and has an exotic, spicy scent. I am an instant fan. (Posted on 9/18/2018)

Pictures don't do it justice. Here in zone 5a Wisconsin it's upright, blooms consistently all season, beautiful color, great fragrance and so great I bought a second a year later. A little BS at the end of the season, but otherwise clean. Blooms do not fade. (Posted on 1/17/2018)

Plain and simple but with a very unique color and smell. The hotter it gets the more you can smell the cinnamon smell. (Posted on 5/2/2017)
