Variegata Di Bologna

Type: Bourbons

Large, cupped 5" flowers (petals 60+) of creamy white cleanly striped with purple crimson. One of the most striking of the striped roses providing a fantastic display and only a few later blooms. A strong upright repeat blooming bush that will benefit from training up a support (like a pillar rose) to make it a standout in the garden.

Delicious perfume, classy Victorian blooms!Review by Laura
I had Variegata de Bolgna 20 years ago in the corner of my garden at my first house, and I have never forgotten how much I loved their decadent unique Victorian style blooms. It was a tall rose that I put on a pillar as suggested, with thick canes. Mine was prolific in the spring and had no issues. There is no other rose with quite the same coloring and lovely raspberry fragrance . I am looking forward to ordering another when available. (Posted on 4/5/2018)
Beautiful!Review by Jamie
I bought this rose last year and it's beautiful! It only bloomed in the Spring, but this rose is very fragrant and lovely. It seems to be growing very well. I'll be anxious to see how it does this year. (Posted on 2/1/2017)
NiceReview by Alson
The flowers on mine in a Zone 5A are rather small, more like around 2.5" but are extremely fragrant! It's also a vigorous grower, so a strong support system is a must, and it grows tall! (Posted on 6/12/2014)
