Type: Rambling Rose

About as blue a rose as you are going to find. Small, semi-double 1 1/2" blooms, (petals 9-12) opening purple violet and maturing to lilac-blue and finally fading to lilac on a once blooming plant. Can appear blue at times especially in part shade. Nearly thorn-less, shade tolerant, with a strong orange fragrance. Makes a nice pillar. Outstanding in partial shade or full sun.

Every spring this beautiful, own root rose, produces a spectacular show. Covered with vibrant, sweet scented blooms. (Posted on 6/3/2017)
magnificentReview by Mecquelch
This is one of several own-root roses that I purchased from Heirloom more than 5 years ago. It survived three moves in 12 months and two days in a garbage bag. It is huge, magnificent, and absolutely covered in blooms. It is striking opposite White Iceberg. (Posted on 2/3/2014)
